FAO Global Soil Partnership (GSP), the Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soils (ITPS), the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the Global Soil Biodiversity Initiative (GSBI) and the Science-Policy Interface of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (SPI UNCCD) are hosting the Global Symposium on Soil Biodiversity (GSOBI21). In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the symposium has been postponed to 19 – 22 April 2021 and will be held in a virtual format from 13:00 to 16:00 CET. GSOBI21 combines policy and science to shed a light on soil biodiversity as a nature-based solution to many of today’s global challenges.
