Our Corporate Membership scheme has launched!

Soils are our past, present and future and are at the heart of the biggest global challenges to do with our climate and the state of our planet. As the UK’s leading body in Soil Science, BSSS strive to secure the future of soils by promoting an enhanced understanding of the critical importance of soils in delivering the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.

Becoming a Corporate Member of BSSS offers businesses the opportunity to demonstrate that they care about soil. Inspire staff and clients by building a collaborative partnership to help safeguard soil for the future, whilst directly supporting the Society to advance the education of soil science to the public, and scientists, and deliver their charitable objectives.

As well as supporting the Society’s vital work, Corporate Members can enjoy a range of benefits including access to BSSS’ two scientific journals, twice-monthly e-newsletters, advertising opportunities in the Society’s members’ magazine, Soil Matters, and discount on BSSS conference and event tickets. Corporate Members are acknowledged on the BSSS website and can submit guest blog pieces to share with members and the wider audience.

President of the British Society of Soil Science, Dr Bruce Lascelles, said “Soil is quite rightly becoming a prominent topic with everyone talking about it, especially ahead of COP26 in November and the World Congress of Soil Science 2022, hosted by BSSS in August next year. In the UK, the Society are leading the way in soil science and taking important action to enhance education and influence policy. Corporate Membership of BSSS is a fantastic opportunity to show your support, now more than ever, and make a difference to the future of our planet”.

The British Society of Soil Science is excited to welcome you on board! Join the Society and help make a positive difference in the sustainable management and long-term security of soils that is critical to solving the environmental and societal challenges we face today.

Prices start from £399 and to find out the benefits on offer, please visit our membership page.
