Dr Isobel Lloyd is Chair of the South East England Soils Discussion Group, member of the BSSS Grants and Awards Committee, and BSSS Early Career member.

Izzy is a soil scientist and research consultant at ADAS, based in Cambridgeshire. Sher current research interests include nutrient management, cover cropping, and greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural soils. Prior to this role, Izzy was awarded her PhD in greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural soils from the University of Leeds, and completed an MSc in Soil Science from the University of Aberdeen.
