We are thrilled to pre-announce the joint grant developed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the British Society of Soil Science (BSSS) and the Spanish Society of Soil Science (SECS).
The grant will offer up to £4,000 to perform the development and, when relevant, delivery of teaching/outreach resources, supporting and encouraging the education of soil science within primary, secondary and/or tertiary settings. The funded project will start in 2023 and be carried out for up to 12 months.
The application team must involve at least one member of BSSS and one member of SECS. A team of a minimum of two applicants, one from each society, is required. The involvement/leadership of Early Career scientists or professionals, although not mandatory, is highly encouraged.
Full details will be released after the World Congress of Soil Science 2022, held in Glasgow (United Kingdom) from 31 July to 5 August 2022, but BSSS and SECS members are highly encouraged to look for suitable partners during the congress.
