The European Society for Soil Conservation (ESSC) will provide two grants of € 500.00 each to two young researchers (less than 35 years old) working in a European country and who are members of the ESSC and wish to attend the 1st ESSC ‐ EURECYS International Joint Congress on Sustainable Management of Cultural Landscapes in the context of the European Green Deal in Italy from 10-14 November 2021. The grants will support their participation in this International Congress (https://www.ecocycles.net/ESSC-EURECYS-Congress/).
To apply for a grant, fill in the grant application form and send it by e-mail to the President and to the Secretary of the ESSC (carmelo.dazzi@unipa.it; eac.costantini@gmail.com) no later than 30 June 2021 together with:
1. An extended abstract of the paper that the applicant wishes to present at the Congress (four pages with: Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; Conclusions; Keywords).
2. A short (maximum one-page) curriculum vitae of the applicant.
3. A Letter of Support from the Institution/Department of the applicant.
An Ad hoc ESSC Commission will evaluate the grant applications. Applicants will be notified of the Commission’s decision by 31 July 2021.
