Are you keen to give back to the soil science community? Do you want to make a difference to soil science and help others advance their careers or learn about the sector? We are looking for a new Chair and a member to join our Grants & Awards Committee, with its main aims:

• to review requests for grant support, and
• develop and update the grants offered by the Society to meet the Society’s strategic objectives.

Our small, friendly committee is made up of members from all backgrounds and we would welcome applications for both our Chair and committee member role, from all Society categories of membership.

The new Chair of the Committee will be elected at the next Society AGM which will be held on Tuesday 2 August 2022 in Glasgow and will take up their three-year term in late 2022 or early 2023.
