Event description:

Join us for the inaugural lecture in our 175th Anniversary Lecture Series

It is 175 years since the foundation of the Royal Agricultural University (then College). To mark this important milestone we will be holding a number of special events, including a series of public lectures and debates.

The inaugural lecture in our 175th Anniversary Lecture Series will be delivered by Richard Williamson, Managing Director of Beeswax Farming.

The lecture will focus on farming business strategy operating in a world with more pressure, more challenge, and less support.

Beeswax Dyson Farming is owned by Sir James Dyson and is one of the largest operators of land in the UK. RAU alumnus Richard began his outstanding career at Velcourt Limited where he was instrumental in identifying and progressing development opportunities including its expansion into mainland Europe.

This event starts at 6pm and will run for approximately one hour, after which you are also warmly invited to join us for a glass of wine to continue the conversation and meet other attendees.

There is no charge to attend this event.
