Opening Keynote Speaker
We are delighted to announce that our Keynote Opening Speaker will be Professor Nicola Spence, Chief Plant Health Officer, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. 2020 will be the International Year of Plant Health, and as the President of BSPP, a new GB plant health and biosecurity strategy will be launched.
Following the Opening Keynote speech, the first day begins with Agri-environmental and Economic Aspects, followed by Combinable Crops. Combinable Crops continues on the second day, which is dedicated primarily to Potatoes. Delegates will be welcome to attend the Conference on either one or both days, at a cost of £105.00 per day (£115 after 1st Feb 2020), including lunch, venue, and registration charges. There are special concession rates for Students (£60 / £70 after 1st Feb 2020).
CPNB 2020 will cover a wide-ranging Programme, and platform and poster presentations are invited in the following areas:
Cropping systems and environmental interactions
Soils and Water Protection
Composts and digestates
Impact of Rural Development and other Programmes
Impact of EU legislation
All aspects of crop protection and crop production in cereals, potatoes, and other combinable crops
Application of new technology, integrated crop and pest management, and sustainability
Crops for renewable energy
Breeding and genetics
The Proceedings of CPNB 2020 have been generously sponsored by Bayer CropScience, and will be published in time for the meeting, with the opportunity for all speakers to publish a 6-page paper (8-page for Invited Speakers). Those presenting Posters are also invited to publish a paper in the Proceedings.
